The requirements which apply to combustion and emissions are becoming ever more stringent. This calls for  innovative solutions. ECO Ceramics has developed a special ceramic foam as a burner deck for heating appliances, both for industrial and domestic heating appliances.

 
The result: burner decks with unprecedented properties when it comes to combustion control, efficiency and possibilities for application.  

Ceramic foam burners can be used in all flat premix burner installations with a ventilator. One-on-one replacement of existing products is virtually always possible. The burner can be modulated to operate at an extremely wide range; the turndown ratio of the ceramic material is as high as 1 in 20. That means it is continuously variable from 100 kW/m2 to 2.000 kW/m2.

Extreme and long-term fluctuations in temperature have no effect on the life span and functioning of the burner. Even sudden cooling with condensation water does not result in cracks or fissures.

 
Ceramic foam material is suitable for all gasses. Just one type of burner and a minimum of adjustments cover the complete range of possible gasses. This makes these foam burners ideal for the development of so-called "standard European appliances".
Even the temperatures and flame speeds which occur in the combustion of 75% hydrogen in present methane is no problem.
